The Connecticut Chapter (005) is offering Study Group opportunities for the following certifications:  

·Certified Protection Professional (CPP)

·Physical Security Professional (PSP)

• The program is offered at: CPP $180.00 fee (free if you already have a manual), PSP $150.00 fee (free if you already have a manual)  
• The CPP course will begin on Tuesday evening March 18th (tentative) and will continue for the next 8 Tuesday evenings. Each meeting will run from 6:00 pm to (approximately) 8:00 pm and will cover one CPP Domains.  
• PSP applicants should plan to attend all of these sessions as well.  There will be one break-out session to concentrate on PSP topics in detail (date to be announced, but will coincide with the CPP schedule).  
• Regardless of the certification you are pursuing, we recommend that you attend all sessions so as to obtain all of the information required to take the Certification Examination, including exam-taking strategies.  
• Members interested in pursuing the APP certification are welcome to attend all sessions as well.  

The course will provide the following to all Study Participants:  

1.An ASIS Study Guide.  

2.A detailed review of the content included in the seven CPP Domains (topics), and the three PSP Domains.  

3.How to qualify to obtain a CPP/PSP Certification and where to take the examination.  

4.Information required regarding study materials and individual Security Study Domain requirements.  

5.How to prepare for a certification exam including test-taking strategies.
